What Is a Cavoodle?
A Cavoodle is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. Cavoodles are well known for their affectionate nature, intelligence and adaptability to family homes.

Understanding Cavoodle Generations
Cavoodle generations describe how many generations a puppy is removed from the original Cavalier × Poodle cross. As generations progress, breeders can achieve greater consistency in coat, size and temperament.
First Generation (F1)
An F1 Cavoodle is a direct cross between a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a purebred Poodle. Typical traits: Greater variation in coat and size Soft, friendly temperament Less predictability than later generations
First Generation Backcross (F1B)
An F1B Cavoodle is an F1 Cavoodle usually crossed back to a Poodle. Often chosen for: Lower-shedding, curlier coats Increased coat predictability Retained Cavoodle personality
Multi-Generational Cavoodles

What Is an Ultra Cavoodle?
The Ultra Cavoodle is a term we have coined for a Cavoodle that is approximately 75% Cavalier and 25% Poodle, combining the beautiful nature of the Cavalier with the benefit of a soft, low to non-shedding coat. Ultras are known for their affectionate, gentle temperament and make wonderful family companions. Their coats can range from soft fleece (wavy) to straight (shaggy), while still maintaining the minimal shedding qualities families love.
What Is a Havoodle?
The Havoodle is a beautiful cross between the affectionate and playful Havanese and the intelligent, highly trainable Poodle. Combining the Havanese’s cheerful, “clown-like” personality with the Poodle’s intelligence and low-shedding coat, Havoodles are loving, social companions with wonderful family temperaments.

What Is a Munchkin Bernedoodle?
The Munchkin Bernedoodle is a unique and carefully planned variation of the Bernedoodle, recognised for its shorter legs and compact, low-to-the-ground build while still maintaining the beautiful fluffy, low-shedding coat, intelligence, and affectionate nature that Bernedoodles are loved for.
Munchkin Bernedoodles are created by thoughtfully incorporating Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Cavoodle) lines alongside Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles. This combination brings together some wonderful qualities from each breed, including the Cavalier’s gentle, affectionate, and people-focused nature, the Bernese Mountain Dog’s loyal and loving temperament, and the Poodle’s intelligence and trainability.

At Belbon Oodles, our Munchkin Bernedoodle program is a carefully planned future project that we are developing with great thought and preparation. We are currently awaiting the arrival of our international stud dog who will form an important part of this exciting program.
